What did you do this weekend?   If you were a member of Troop 448 you might have gone whitewater rafting, backpacking, rappelling, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, trap shooting, camping, canoeing, swimming, cycling, playing on the beach, deep sea fishing, caving, sailing, watching the Blue Angels, touring the battleship Alabama.   These are just some of the things that we have done this past year.   Come join the fun while you learn new skills on your path to becoming an Eagle Scout!

Since 1962, Boy Scout Troop 448 has been blessed to be sponsored by the United Methodist Men's Club at Trinity United Methodist Church.   Over the years we have had the pleasure of guiding 49 young men in their journey of earning their Eagle Scout rank.

Our Troop meets most Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church which is located at 2303 Jones Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.   Usually the first three Tuesdays are regular Troop meetings and the fourth Tuesday is set aside for our Patrol Leader Council (PLC).   As a boy lead Troop, the Scouts in the PLC plan all our activities for the next month.   In months that have five Tuesdays the Troop heads out for a fun night that the Scouts have also planned.   Visitors are always welcome to participate in meeings and outings just email us and let us know when we can expect you.

Without the help of the community, we would not be able to provide the rich and rewarding program that we do for the Scouts.   Our program this year will be highlighted with a high adventure trip in June.   The Scouts are currently debating on a couple of locations for this year's trip but usually we can expect that there will be some sort of water sport involved.   To prepare, the Scouts will be raising funds for the trip as well as developing water safety, kayaking, boating, and swimming skills.   To learn how you can help the Scouts reach their goals contact us or visit our Fund Raisers web page.   Your help is always greatly appreciated.
